The Kudanshita-Jimbocho zone is one of those gems Tokyo has to offer. This area, often “forgotten” by visitors stretches between others landmarks such as Yasukuni jinja, the imperial gardens, Marunouchi, and Akihabara a little bit further. If you have time, consider spending one evening wandering in one of the numerous little streets and alleys. The area is famous for its many bookshops and hosts a couple of big publishing companies. Interesting in the day, those streets and shops take another – almost fantastic – dimension at dusk.
