It was one of those rainy evenings when you suddenly notice that you don’t really have enough in your fridge to feed the kids properly. You decide to get out buying some decent food for them, and you suddenly fall on this little mikoshi being paraded just around the corner, and ending up in “shrine” just behind your house… but the existence of which you had not even suspected for over a year living in this neighbourhood. Japan is definitely full of surprises ! This is also precisely why I always carry a camera in my bag (and the very reason why I love the tiny yet powerful XT-2.)

Gear used: Fujifilm XT-2 + 56mm f/1.2

Unexpected mikoshi
