Shinagawa Station

One of Tokyo’s largest train stations and a hub for the shinkansen (the Bullet Train), Shinagawa Station is also home to several office buildings, residences, a shopping mall and a small park.

To be fair there isn’t anything special about this place that you would not find anywhere else, however millions of people, tourists or not, are passing through this station without really taking the time to discover it. Today’s video tries to right this wrong and our camera will slowly guide you around Shinagawa station and its many faces.

Connue comme étant la plus vaste gare de Tokyo, et comme un hub majeur du réseau Shinkansen, Shinagawa Station est aussi un lieu où se dressent des buildings, des résidences, un centre commercial, et un parc. Il n’y a pas grand chose à raconter sur un éventuel point qui ferait de Shinagawa un endroit exclusif à visiter si ce n’est que des millions de personnes, touristes et autres, traversent cette station sans vraiment prendre le temps de la visiter.

C’est pourquoi nous allons nous intéresser à toutes les facettes de cet endroit indispensable pour tout le monde, mais encore trop méconnu.
