Zojo-ji Temple (The Sakura Guide)

The Spot

Located next to Shiba Koen and in front of Tokyo Tower, Zojo-ji Temple is one of Tokyo’s most famous and visited temples. While the temple does not feature as many sakura trees as other places, it does give you the possibility to get some of the most gorgeous shots that Tokyo can offer by combining a remarkable weeping cherry tree, the temple itself, and Tokyo Tower as a backdrop. Really it would be hard to get a more picturesque shot. If you want something more unique then quickly walk toward the collection of Jizo statues located on the right end side of the temple and here as well, some of the most amazing pictures are just waiting for you to snap them.
