About This Video
Located in Tsuruta in the northern Japan prefecture of Aomori, the Tsuru-no-Mai bridge is Japan’s longest wooden bridge! Completed in July 1994, the 300 meter long 3 arch bridge spans across Tsugaru Fujimi Lake. Tsuru no Mai Bridge appears differently as seasons change. Spectacular scenes of the bridge emerge with dusk as the bridge is colored orange and red during sunset. This is an example of why tourists are drawn to visit this place.
