About This Video
Bridging Tokyo Bay, Koto and the man made island Wakasu, the Tokyo Gate Bridge was first opened in February 2012. Also called the “Dinosaur Bridge” due to its unusual shape, the Tokyo Gate Bridge is a 2.6km long truss bridge which allow, around 32,000 vehicles daily to cross one part of Tokyo to another. The Tokyo Gate Bridge is also trying its best to reduce its footprint on the environment by using LED lights and solar powered generators and batteries to keep things as green as possible!
