Kisami Ohama beach is a gorgeous little stretch of sand and blue water located south of Izu peninsula in Shimoda. While 20 years ago Kisami Ohama beach was rather unknown, outside of locals and some Japanese people living in Tokyo, it is only just 10 years ago that the area has become one of the most famous beach areas for foreigners living in Tokyo with now several hotels and beach houses owns by foreigners uniquely designed to host Tokyo’s ever-growing foreign community. Kisami Ohama beach is really a lovely beach all year long for a walk, swim, or even surfing.
