Hashirimizu

Hashirimizu is a small fishing town located in Kanagawa prefecture. Close to Yokosuka city or if you prefer, a good hour south of Tokyo and around 30 minutes south of Yokohama by car. Now we will be straight with you, there is actually nothing special about this little fishing town, no temples, no castle, nothing special really, and this is exactly why we decided to shoot a video of the place. Hashirimizu is by all means your small fishing town lost between other villages and nearby huge cities. Despite being an hour away from Tokyo, Hashirimizu seems so remote and where everyday folks there still work like they did 50 years ago, fishing for a living and enjoying the sea.
