It is very difficult to single out a prefecture in Japan and label it as “The best” place to visit in Japan. I haven’t visited a place in Japan that I dislike or that should not be listed in the top places to visit. In my humble opinion, all Japanese prefectures should rank equally in your list of places to visit.
