Arashiyama, one of the world’s most famous bamboo groves, is located in Kyoto. Composed of many different public and private areas of the Sagano bamboo forest, Arashiyama is however one of the most well-known sections of this huge bamboo grove.
Extremely popular all year long, as early as 6 am and up until late at night, we were lucky enough to enjoy Arashiyama’s most famous spot by ourselves during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, making a once in a lifetime experience that many can only dream of!
