Some places in Tokyo seem to live only at night. I have been fascinated by this yakitori restaurant near Kasuga for a while. In the day it looks creepy, has its awful iron curtain closed, and seems almost decayed, abandoned. But at dusk the owner steps in and turns on the light… and the place becomes suddenly attractive, full of life and colors. The contrast is striking !
