Japan is often described as a very modern country; this is sometimes true, but actually, many “oldies” subsist. Some make me crazy, like the intensive use of fax machines. Some others are more fascinating, such as the perfect maintenance of those old tramway carriages in Nagasaki. This picture was taken a few years ago, and the old trams may have been replaced by newer ones. But even then, those wagons were really old… and still they worked perfectly.
