Meiji Jingu offers a very interesting atmosphere… provided you manage to get there before the touristic rush hours. As always in shinto shrines, the place is rather sober, and elegance is to be found in the place’s simplicity. One of the details I like the most in the main yard of Meiji Jingu are those lanterns…
