An old picture of one of my favourite places in Tokyo: the Marunouchi side of the Tokyo Station shortly after the old station was restored. I find the combination of modern and old looking architecture very well balanced and really elegant. I wish Tokyo had been able to preserve more of its landmarks like this.

Unfortunately, the beautiful Harajuku station on the Yamanote Line won’t be so lucky. It is about to be destroyed and replaced by a far less charming modern structure.

Lucky enough to have spent the last 6 years of my life in Tokyo, I spend a lot of time wandering through this always amazing city, a camera and a couple of lenses in my bag, mostly Nikon… for the time being.
