The end of Musashi Koyama famous alleyways

Today, a friend of mine shared on his Facebook page a very interesting article about the progressive disappearance of one of Tokyo most famous alleyways : Musahi Koyama (Click here for the full article).

While of course the main shopping street will still be there for a few more years, the many little restaurants and traditional Japanese pub/eateries that grew alongside this shopping street are now disappearing in favour of new development projects surrounding the 2020 Olympics boom.

While we can’t do anything about Musashi Koyama alleyways, we are glad that we had the chance last year to take a few videos of the place and hope that our work will help many people around the world to enjoy what was once one of Tokyo’s vibrant neighbourhood.
